How it all started
Founded in Northern California in 2016, Foothill Products makes thoughtful, well-designed accessories for the cycling aficionado. Our first product, The Offset, is a bicycle wheel storage hook that debuted with a successful Kickstarter campaign. We now offer a variety of cycling accessories for indoor training, outdoor training, and gear storage. Foothill Products is based in Austin, TX, and our products are designed, developed, and assembled in North America.
Founder
Douglas Schaller is a freelance industrial designer by trade. Over the years Doug has worked with a variety of consumer electronics, emerging tech, and biotech companies including JetBlack, Swiftmile, Promega, Amber, and Axion BioSystems. He was also the Design Director at Butterfleye. Doug has a passion for designing products, refining their initial vision, and making them manufacturable, as well as helping companies with business and branding structure.
Our products are built to last
We design with longevity and repairability in mind. For the core of our products, we choose materials like aluminum that stand the test of time. For elements that could wear with excessive use, we choose assembly techniques that allow you to replace those components.
